Responsible for the assembly of parts and approving final inspections as instructed and/or per work instructions keeping both the efficiency and the quality standards as set by management. Identify improvement opportunities and quality concerns to management and assist in the implementation of improvements. Serve as Department supervisor when the supervisor is not available. Assist in training of Assembly Mechanics as directed by management.
Responsible for the Quality of RL Hudson’s products and for driving continuous improvement initiatives within RL Hudson and its supply base. Manages all internal and external quality issues, ensuring timely and effective closure. Serves as the organization’s 8D leader and problem-solving subject matter expert providing training and facilitation as needed. Oversees the Quality Inspection Laboratory, including its personnel, processes and equipment.

Responsible for Quality Assurance activities to insure new and production products consistently meet customer requirements in accordance with Company standards. Coordinate and direct the routine activities of customer complaints, corrective actions, supplier quality development, etc. for the Quality Department and stand in for the Quality Manager in their absence.
