Responsible for injection molding operation and improvements, duties and activities that meet the highest standards in process optimization, control and product quality. This is a high visibility position that reflects on the entire Company.
This position requires leadership skills in managing the technical aspects of production. Position requires a self-motivated change agent with a positive attitude and strong communication skills. Must be able to bring projects to a successful conclusion.
• Injection molding machine start-up, processing, mold changes.
• Overhead crane operation and safety.
• Operator station and fixture change-overs.
• Able to read and comprehend work instructions, part prints, control charts, maintenance logs, maintenance manuals and other operational literature.
• Maintenance of primary, auxiliary and secondary equipment.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Organizational skills.
• Extensive knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Fork truck, hand truck, electric pallet jack operation
• High School Diploma
• Scientific Molding Training such as Paulson or RJG.
• 5 years setting molds and processing in injection molding.
